We stayed in a double ensuite room and it was horrible. Everything was dirty; the pillows and the blankets are very old and have blood and other spots on them, there are dark spots in the wall. The sound of the shower was awful, the bathroom is very tiny. The price was almost 100 euros and I think it´s too expensive for such a horrible place.
Awesome location right in old town, pretty good price compared to other options, lots of "freebies", staff was nice
Apparently close to one boat harbor it advertised, though we walked about 25 minutes from the Viking Line dock (no biggie), the beds and linens comfort were... Budget, the "breakfast" is simply bread, butter, cornflakes/milk, there is also no place to put your stuff in the shower room we had (non ensuite)
The Bed were are so noisy it was hard to sleep, not a good option for family stay.
What I liked is when I checked out and I left it; if this is the Best hotel, I can't imagine how is the worst. Me gustó cuando me fui.
Staff is as nice as an iceberg. A room of 3-4m2 including bathroom is not comfortable, the bed is for half person or someone very skinny. The bathroom smelled bad. The bed wasn't done, I checked in and I had to put the linens by myself. For the same price you get a 4 star hotel in Asia
I really enjoyed my stay, the hostel was very clean and my room was small but lovely. The small breakfast is for free and good. The location is great and you have a beautiful view over Gamla Stan. Recomended!
You can always meet new people here. They are friendly, easy-going and can enrich your experience. Free coffee and tea anytime.
The breakfast is a bit too simple.
It was not acceptable for anyone over the age of 25. The doors were very loud and there was no soundproofing. People came and went in the halls all the time. The management tried to be accommodating, but there was too much to overcome.
Really great location for these who want to explore Gamla Stan.
Old house, spirit of adventure.
Den ligger bredvid Filippinska embassaden och man kan varma upp och låga mat.
Footsteps on the hallway can be heard inside the room (212). My son kept on wondering about the sound.
I liked the friendly atmosphere- staff were very helpful and because we booked in late in the evening, the instructions on how to enter the building and collect our key were excellent. The breakfast was fine although I think some museli/orange juice would be a nice addition to the cornflakes/toast but no complaints there.
Our room was on the edge of the common room with the tv- this meant that groups of people would congregate to watch tv and chat at various times of the day including late night. So if we wanted to sleep or doze it wasn't always possible. I'm not complaining as such but I wonder if a tv is necessary in a hostel like this- or perhaps that is because I am older...
The location in Stockholm's Gamla Stan Old Town is excellent - walking distance from most of the city's major sights. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was simple and fine.
The location was good
It was noisy and the bathroom was tiny and smelly
location is perfect! room have many space, free tea & coffee, breakfast is ok. bread, butter, jam, knackebrod. very simple, but enough. we bought cheese, jam, vegetables, smoke salmon at saluhall market and enjoy in the morning!
bed was slightly hard. thin.
In safe and good district. Very close to city center and also close to Globen Arena. Clean rooms, free internet access.
We enjoyed our stay at Best Hostel Skeppsbron, it was nice, tidy and comfortable hostel. Good value for the money! Also excellent location if you plan to visit city center as it is basically only a few steps away from the old town.
